About me and my practice
I believe the true mechanism of change is through the relationship & although I've extensive theoretical knowledge to assist me in the therapeutic process, it is the connection to my clients which I find is most vital.
At the end of the day we're 2 humans sitting together (online/in-person), with one sharing their thoughts, feelings & emotions. You need to do that within a comfortable trusting therapeutic relationship which I aim to provide.
Change can take time but I dont demand any long-term commitment from clients because theres no recipe for living that fits all.
We're all unique as humans and everyones life journey is different. But at some point however, you will hopefully walk out the door a different person, closer to the version you want, and are meant, to be.

Qualifications
Certificate in Person Centred Counselling, University of Glasgow.
Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, The Garnethill Centre, Glasgow.
Certificate in Online/Telephone Counselling: training recognised by The National Counselling Society, BACP and Association for Counselling & Therapy Online (ACTO).
Certificate in Life Coaching, Chrysalis training institute (ongoing training).
Additional Information
How long do sessions last?
Sessions last one hour and usually take place weekly or fortnightly.
Flexibility of therapy online and/or in-person.
You have the option to work online and/or in-person. This flexibility allows in-person clients to go online if they are unable to make appointments for whatever reason, or simply decide to work online. Its also possible for online clients to move to in-person work, depending on availability.

Initial Consultation
I offer an initial 10/15 minute free phone consultation. This is all fairly relaxed, I chat over a couple of things at my end and potential clients can ask me any questions they may have.
Fees
£60 per session.
When I Work
Monday-Friday - 8.30am-7pm.
Therapeutic Approach
Psychodynamic therapy, Attachment-focused therapy.
Video Platforms
Online sessions take place via Zoom, through a private link.
